2020 Scholarship Award RECIPIENT

The Taylor Kennedy Folk $5,000 Inaugural Scholarship goes to Miss Katie Bleck.  Katie will be attending Lake Land College in the fall, where she will major in Elementary Education and play basketball for the Lake Land Lakers.  We held an impromptu award ceremony at the Bleck home on Sunday evening, May 10th.  Katie was surprised and very humbled by the award.    We have no doubt that Taylor will be with Katie as she continues her education and sport.  Congratulations, Katie Bleck.  We are proud to call you the first Taylor Kennedy Folk Scholarship Award winner. 

  The Weyauwega Fremont Class of 2020 has been through so much this final senior year.  We have been so impressed at how you have overcome everything that has been thrown at you.  You have handled yourselves with such grace and dignity.   We are so proud to call you our adoptive daughters and sons, and we truly hope you will continue to live your life as Taylor lived hers…  4ever❤25strong.
