The Meaning of The Logo
Taylor had the heart of a champion. It was obvious that she was going to be an athlete, excelling at any sport she took up.
Tayls played Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. She was born on the 25th of the month, therefore she insisted that 25 was her number in every sport she played for as long as we can remember.
Upon entering her Freshman year of basketball, she was devastated when she learned the team didn’t have a #25 jersey available for the Varsity team; therefore, she chose the #4 instead. It wasn’t until later that year, she realized that having a lower number meant getting announced first during games, so she decided to keep #4 for her basketball career. I was proud to announce her number either way.
Taylor’s faith was important to her and she loved her God. Every time she would come up to bat in softball, she would make a sign of the cross on Homeplate just before the pitch.
So, to sum up the logo… the Heart is for her love of the game, her family & friends. The Cross is for her faith and love of God and the numbers 4 and 25 are the numbers she played by. We could all live the way Taylor lived her life, to the fullest. May we all be… 4ever❤25STRONG.
